Following multiple circulations of potential disruptions, stoppages and threats of violence planned for the 1st and 2nd of September 2019, we urge all transporters to take these threats seriously and exercise extreme caution within the next few days.
Information received from credible sources indicates that groups in cross-border countries have threatened violence against South African registered vehicles that may travel through them.
Please ensure your drivers are aware and that safety precautions are put in place. If you become aware of any situations, please contact SAPS immediately and warn other transporters. Safe Trucking.
