Spill Protect Plan customers now have the option for their drivers to use the SPP Alert App to access a variety of valuable features.
Introducing the Spill Protect Plan Alert App.
The SPP (Spill Protect Plan) Alert app is a value added application available to drivers of companies covered by the Spill Protect Plan.
SPP Alert features include:
ALERTS: Real-time alerts that notify subscribers to possible issues that may present as danger on their journey. These notifications include traffic updates, weather or driving conditions. Drivers are able to select alerts by regions within South Africa.
ARTICLES: These articles are created to inform and train users around industry specific topics.
VEHICLE MANIFEST: This is where the user prepopulates important information. This information will be sent with the user’s location when the emergency button is activated.
EMERGENCY BUTTON: In the event of an incident, the user is able to push a button that will notify our 24hr Control Room of an emergency. The Control Room Operator will automatically receive the location of where the button was pressed, as well as the driver specific details that are filled in on the vehicle manifest. The controller will immediately call the user and dispatch emergency response if required.
